Why do I get a message that my IP address is locked out?
If you enter your Windows username and password or access code incorrectly too many times, your IP address will be locked out.
In order to clear an IP lockout, you need to have physical access to the computer that you were trying to access. Please right-click on the LogMeIn systray icon, located in the bottom right-hand corner of your computer. Choose "Open LogMeIn."
Then, select Preferences > Security Settings > IP Address Lockout. Scroll down to Authentication attack filter. Here you can choose to uncheck the Active box, delete the locked out IP address, or change the number of attempts before locking out. Then click the Apply button at the bottom. This should reset your computer to accept new login attempts.
However, if you are unable to get to that computer, the lockout will remain in effect for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the IP lockout will automatically clear.
